Murmuration is implementing a dashboard to evaluate the practicability of tourist activities based on environmental criteria for five Tourist Offices in the Pyrénées Atlantiques department.
This dynamic dashboard includes:
An annual study of several environmental parameters tailored to the specifics of the territory (vegetation health, air quality, water temperature, precipitation, air temperature, etc.),
Measurement of tourist attendance throughout the year,
A panel of eight tourist activities defined with the department to represent the territory's tourism offerings (e.g., hiking, cycling, water sports, camping, etc.).
Each activity is then given a score out of 10 based on the environmental conditions of a chosen period. It is also possible to simulate the practicability of activities based on environmental events.
The goal of this tool for the Tourist Offices is to improve visitor guidance and support local providers in adapting their tourism offerings according to environmental conditions.
