Murmuration organized a day dedicated to climate awareness and action within the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), combining two complementary workshops.
The morning began with the Climate Fresk, a fun and collaborative workshop designed to help participants better understand the causes and consequences of climate change. To ground participants in the reality of climate issues, we presented satellite data and climate projections developed by our team. This information made the impacts of climate change tangible, thus enhancing the workshop's relevance.
Together, participants then created a mural using cards representing various aspects of the climate, while sharing and expanding their knowledge in an environment that fosters collective intelligence.
In the afternoon, participants took part in the 2tonnes workshop, a simulation of a journey into the future. During this half-day session, they simulated making individual and collective decisions year after year to reduce their carbon footprint.
Through this simulation, they were able to observe the concrete impact of their choices on climate evolution. This workshop not only illustrated real-world challenges but also sparked rich and constructive discussions about the solutions to implement for ecological transition.
Together, these two workshops, enriched by rigorous scientific data, provided participants with an in-depth understanding of climate challenges and the tools to take action.
